Israel. What can one really and truly say about that small strip of land, so insignificant, yet one of the most powerful nations in the world, and yet hated and feared by many?
Watching the recent news on Israel, you would have seen how Israeli military had launched strikes on Gaza. People were left without homes, and some were killed.
Your reaction? Shock, or even disgust with Israel.
But I want to tell you what most news reports left out. Before Israeli forces even planned the strikes, missiles (mortars and rockets) from Gaza had been fired, and had rained down in Israel. No warning. No provocation. Then and only then came the return strike of Israel.
But the day before the strikes, the Israeli command called Gaza and informed them of the coming attacks, so that civilians would have the chance to leave, and wouldn’t be harmed. Many did not heed this warning.
I hope that if you were angry with Israel for its blatant, and so said ‘uncalled for,’ attack, that you are not so now.
Would even America inform her foes of an exact time and place of an attack, so that civilians might evacuate? I don’t think so. Nor would Britain, or another of the world leaders.
By calling Gaza, Israel’s true targets escaped. Though buildings were destroyed, those who were killed had no one to blame but themselves.
Time after time you can look at Israel and see a noble and brave nation.
Every famous conflict of Israel has been instigated by those who oppose God’s chosen. And yet, Israel, a speck compared to its many, many enemies, has always triumphed. So they attacked Gaza. They gave up Gaza to the Palestinians, and because of that, they have been attacked all the more by the PLO.
This isn’t about Gaza. This is about hatred for the chosen people of God.

BRITISH EDITOR’S NOTE: The media showed photos of poor, helpless injured children from Gaza. Did they ever show any photos of the children terrorised daily in Sderot by Hamas rockets? If they did, it certainly was not dragged to the public’s attention, was it?
