“Darwinism.” What comes to mind when you hear that word? For some it’s a belief, for others just a theory, but in reality it is a thief, a thief that has stolen something very precious from mankind. Whether you believe in Evolution or Creation, I am here to give light to the truth. Allow me to lay before you what both Creation and Evolution says about how life came into existence.

I will start with Evolution, where Darwin explains the origin of the world. He starts by assuming that about two hundred million years ago, one or more germs “appeared” on this planet and these germs reproduced and changed, evolving over the years into separate animal and plant species. Some say it was twenty-four million years ago with only one germ. Darwin’s son said it was fifty-seven million years ago. You see how when you are only guessing how different every guess is? And how many questions does this leave unanswered? Where did the germs come from? How did they decide when it was a good idea to start reproducing?

Now, what does Creation have to say about the origin of life? The Bible says in Genesis that “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth…” The Bible does not begin by saying “about this many years ago a God made the earth.” It says that God created the world and all life in it, and begins by stating this, “In the beginning God created.” There is no other argument or fact given.

Next, the origin of man and all other life; Darwin guessed that two hundred million years ago one or more germs appeared on the planet and immediately got to work reproducing. (How do you like that, we’re all a bunch of germs.) After a few billion years they gave us between two to three million species of both plants and animals. Now if all species slowly evolved over a huge span of years then the earth would teem with evidence. But where is the evidence? If you are thinking about Lucy, toss that idea out. I hardly think one jaw bone that may or may not be human is the link we are looking for. As William Jennings Bryan said in his lecture, Is the Bible True? “We have a million times a million links that would have existed if Evolution was true; but they have not found a single one.”

In Creationism the twenty-fourth verse in the first chapter of Genesis states God’s law for reproduction, “According to its kind”. Not one living thing, animal, mineral, or vegetable has violated this law, ever. Scientists have not found a single species that can be proven to have come from another. If all species can be traced to the same germ or organism, then there would be evidenced somewhere of a change, but there is none. Scientists have studied countless specimens and have not found one in the process of change.

Now, what about Mankind? How did we start? In Darwin’s, Descent of Man, he goes back as far as he can go to find life, tracing it down to the present. To explain Mankind’s presence here on earth Darwin begins by saying “We may well suppose,” (he uses this phrase eight hundred times in two volumes.) When he arrives to the place where man comes into the picture he says we came from the Old World monkey, then goes on to say that we probably came from the chimpanzee rather than the gorilla. Why? Because supposedly the gorilla was too big and strong to develop the social instincts, so it was decided that we came from a weaker group of monkeys. So we’re now not only a bunch of germs, but weak, stupid chimps. Just out of curiosity, if we really and truly came from the chimps, then why are there still chimps? You might say they stopped evolving because there were enough humans on the earth to keep it populated, but how did the chimps know when to stop evolving? I doubt it was just instinct; for if they started by evolving why would they suddenly stop?

Where Mankind came from and why we are here is the biggest truth of life that Darwinism was taken from us. The twenty-sixth verse of the first chapter of Genesis, explains Man’s presence here on earth. In this verse we see that after God made all things He made man. Not like or as all things, but in His own image. What makes life worth living? The fact that all men were created in the image of God to love and be loved by Him, not just as another animal to roam and take up space on the earth, but as a child precious in His sight. That an all knowing, all loving God would wish to create Man in His own image and call them His beloved is the greatest knowledge that Darwin has stolen from mankind. By taking God out of the picture Darwin also took out love. Not just any love, by The Love. He also took purpose, human worth, grace, forgiveness, freedom and countless other things.

In conclusion, I will ask this question: if you searched the world over, read all the books there are to read on the subject, asked all the questions there are to ask, and studied every aspect of science, how in all good sense could you still believe that the theory of the world evolving out of nothing could be true? Where are the missing links? They are not missing for they never existed to begin with.

The escape hatch

Malaria is called the “million-murdering death.” Spread by mosquitoes, this single-celled parasitic organism enters the blood and makes its way to the liver, where it lies in wait. Sometimes it only takes one attack to kill its victim, especially in areas with little access to modern medicine. The predator re-enters the bloodstream, where it wreaks havoc, destroying vital red blood cells by using them to house its own little reproduction factory. It works hard to earn its name. Every year, it kills around one million people, though many more are infected. In the middle of the twentieth century, certain drugs were discovered that seemed to cure malaria, but hopes were dashed when it developed resistance within a decade.
Sickle cell disease is inherited through the DNA. It, too, affects red blood cells—sickle hemoglobin behaves differently from ordinary hemoglobin, which is the essence of red blood cells. Sickle blood cells are not the round red dough-nuts we see in medical encyclopedias; the hemoglobin gelatinizes and pushed against the wall of the blood cell, distorting it into spiky, misshapen blobs, and stiffening the cell in the process. Sickle cell disease is not fully understood, but its victims suffer sharp pain, death of tissue, and short life-spans.
However, in malaria-ridden populations, sickle cell disease is a blessing. Many carry sickle cell disease, but in order for the disease to manifest itself, one must have received sickle DNA from both parents. When a child inherits it from only one parent, approximately half of their hemoglobin is normal and half is in sickle form. As it turns out, the deadly malaria cannot dominate and conquer a sickle blood cell, rendering its carrier immune. Thus, this drug-defying “evolution champion” cannot combat even a tiny genetic change in its victim.
Notothenoid fish are found in the Antarctic region of the globe, where few organisms can survive. Temperatures there are extremely low; by all accounts, their blood should freeze solid. According to secular studies, tiny alterations in their DNA over the past ten million years have allowed them to create a new kind of antifreeze. Darwinists hold these fish high as a standard of natural selection.
Back to malaria, the killing machine. Apparently, this champion that can out-evolve our most advance medications cannot develop in the mosquito that carries it unless the temperatures are at least warm. In spite of supposed millions of years in which to evolve, and in spite of a massive population, it can’t beat an Antarctic fish. Something here isn’t logical.
Why don’t we hear about these strange cases? Why is the data presented always in favor of macroevolution? Why is it that when one of their precious missing links is proven false, it is tucked away in the back page of the newspaper, instead of proclaimed clearly on the front page where they announced it in the first place? The truth is, the world is full of people who simply cannot “go there.” Like Darwin, we must question whether their claims are built on factual scientific observations, or on a prior decision that they cannot believe in the Triune God of the Bible.
To many, Darwinism is simply what they’ve always heard and never questioned. To others, it is an escape hatch. How do we face this as Christians? Not by open ridicule. Not by hammering them over the head with a Bible. We must look upon the non-believers with pity, and with love. Not look down upon, but look upon, for we know we would be in that exact place without the saving grace of Jesus Christ. It is our job, our great commission, to show them that they don’t need an escape hatch—they need a savior.

Attack against evolution

Evolution. It is the theory that all living things have come from a single ancestor by natural selection over millions of years. It is the belief that life came from chemicals that randomly reacted with each other back during prehistoric earth, and that such life changed slowly over time, finally stopping with the human race.

Many people have fallen into the trap of believing this. Public schools teach this theory to their students, scientists believe it to the point where they’ll do anything to prove it right, the media (such as movies, books, and television) promote it, and a portion of the earth populous simply considers it to be true because they were raised with the belief.

However, such a theory is not true. With that said, this article will focus on one of the many ideas that make up evolution and give examples as well as information which will help to prove that Darwin’s belief cannot, and never will, be possible.

The idea the article focuses on is about fossils.

Some scientists say that there are fossils that can prove evolution. They say there are fossils that show the transition stage between a creature morphing into another (i.e. a fish evolving into a lizard – no gills), and have actually provided some, but all have been fake. Take, for instance, Archaeopteryx, the ‘missing link’. The Archaeopteryx is a fossil dated back 150 million years by secular scientists. With the wings, feathers, and wishbone of a bird, plus the tail and claws of a lizard, people think the fossil to be the missing link between birds and reptiles. However, while most people believe that this fossil proves evolution to be true, some scientists today have studied this and classified the fossil into a group of extinct birds – unrelated in every way to a reptile.

Science has tried to prove, time and time again, that there are fossils somewhere which can ultimately show the transition between one species and another, and therefore show that all who do not believe are wrong. Scientists get so desperate, knowing that their studies do not get them very far, that they actually will cheat and lie to get their way. For example, back in 1999 a fossil was claimed to be the missing link between terrestrial dinosaurs and flying birds. Excited by their find, they called it the Archaeoraptor. Unfortunately for them, the world soon found out that it was fake. Someone had taken the fossil of a bird, and glued on a dinosaur tail. The whole thing was a flop and an embarrassment for the name of science.

Those, Archaeopteryx and Archaeoraptor are good examples of the substandard and intellectually dishonest work of evolutionists. Since they cannot prove that their theories and experiments are true, they rely on faith and their own guesses instead of actual facts. Therefore, evolution is upheld by faith. Many people have noticed this and believe that there is nothing to support their faith, and have inclined to write books and make movies on the subject. If evolutionists cannot find any evidence to prove their belief, why believe it? This just continually points to the fact that they relief on faith, and not science.

With that said, the question for all who stick with the theory of evolution is this: How can a fish evolve into a reptile, or a reptile into a bird, or even an ape into a human? There is no evidence that proves such a thing. They try to fit in what they think would answer that question, using evidence and even lies to get there, but it never works. The answer is, there is no way for that to happen. Reptiles and birds have different weights, different muscle and bone structures, different features, and many other things that just don’t work. A fish could not change into a reptile. If a fish lost its gills for lungs, it would have died. There should be millions of fossils scattered around, proving that evolution happened. Yet, there are none. Not any.

No evidence, and yet people still choose to blindly believe. Such hope is, in truth, a lost cause.
